The "blockout" curtains are promoted to limit light, noise & heat loss. Due to the special outer surface, they are sold unlined (which is clearly stated). But they are terrible! The similarly mid-priced standard lined curtains that we replaced have the same mediocre block of light and are probably better for noise. I don't know whether to line these curtains with black-out lining or start again. Likely a waste of money.

Curtains team: I'm sorry you feel the need to complain about these curtains. They are the cheapest one we sell but normally get 5 stars. We do not sell them as blackout or blockout. They are made of thermal fabric which is proven to reduce light and noise but if you want them to blackout then you have to have blackout curtains.
